This Privacy Policy explains how Back & Beyond ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use our website, booking site, mobile apps and doorstep return pickup service. We collect only what's needed to complete your pickup, never store raw card numbers, and do not sell personal information.

Information we collect

Account information: your name, email address and phone number.
Pickup information: your pickup address and pickup spot, pickup date and window, notes you add, and item details such as the store and return-by date.
Return documents: the return QR codes or receipts you upload.
Photos: photographs your driver takes of your items on arrival, and drop-off receipts.
Payment information: payments are handled by our payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and limited details (such as the card brand and last four digits), but never your full card number.
Support messages: anything you send us by email or through your account.

How we use information

To schedule, complete and confirm your pickups and drop-offs.
To send you pickup status updates, receipts and service messages.
To process payments, refunds and the mailing of gift cards when you approve it.
To provide customer support and handle disputes.
To keep our service safe and comply with the law.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share information only:

With the Back & Beyond driver assigned to your pickup, as needed to complete it.
With the store, when we present your return QR code or receipt at drop-off.
With service providers that help us run the Service, such as our app hosting and database provider and our payment processor, under agreements to protect your information.
When required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our customers, drivers or the public.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your information only as long as needed to provide the Service, resolve disputes and meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time by emailing support@backandbeyondreturns.com from the email address on your account. We may keep limited records where the law requires.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
